CycleMore Motorcycle Windshield Extensions panels are made of 3/16th inch thick clear acrylic, the same material used in many MFR factory and aftermarket cruiser motorcycle windshields. Panels are CNC machined to provide a smooth, uniform edge and are available in the following sizes:

 

· 8 inches tall x 5 inches wide

· 8 inches tall x 6 inches wide

· 12 inches tall x 6 inches wide

 

CycleMore Motorcycle Windshield Extensions are only available for straight or nearly straight edged shields.  The polished aluminum mounting brackets are 6 inches long for the 8 inch panels and 8 inches long for the 12 inch panels.  Therefore, a straight (or nearly straight) edge on the windshield side 6 inches long or 8 inches long, in two planes, is required to properly mount the straight edge models. 

 

Also available are extensions specifically for the Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe.  We can also, in some cases, make custom extensions for unique shield shapes.

Cyclemore Motorcycle Windshield Extensions are the perfect example of a new idea born out of necessity.  After purchasing a new cruiser, I found that on those long cold evening rides home on the highway, in the rain, or after cleaning the bugs off my gloves, I missed the protection of the handlebar faring on my previous bike. 

After searching many hours on the internet I realized that I may have to come up with my own solution.  I wanted to come up with a motorcycle windshield extension design that was simple, effective, inexpensive and good looking.  Several ideas were put into prototype followed by hours of test riding. The extensions you see here have now been purchased by over 100 customers and used for 10s or even 100s of thousands of kilometers by all types of riders in all kinds of weather.   

The extensions are available in two height choices for straight (or nearly straight) edge shields and include “chrome look” polished aluminum brackets providing a solution for many 3/16th inch thick cruiser style motorcycle windshields.  Custom extensions are also possible depending on the customer’s needs.
